Why do some people feel fear from the Muslims

One of the important traits that can tell you if you have Islamophobia or no is the fear from the Muslims. it's a Human nature that we Hate/Love each other for different reasons. But when this hate became unreasonable and you start hating someone because of how he looks like or because you thought that he is a Muslim then this can be a sign of Islamophobia.


The media is the main reason for Islamophobia, repeating words like Islamic terrorism has effected the general image of Muslims around the world, we realized also that the media doesn't mention the religion of the attacker if he wasn't Muslim like the The Charlottesville car attack for example.

We also realized that in other crimes like raping for example the media will give more attention to the crime if the attacker was a Muslim, The media will tend to use headlines like "Muslim raped a woman" or "Immigrant raped a woman" But if the rapist wasn't a Muslim then the media will use headline such as "Man raped a woman". While in there is no much different between a Muslim who raped a woman and a Christian who raped a woman, in front of the court they are rapists, no more or less.

Judging the people depending on their look is wrong, it can lead you one day to be a racist and this is what you have to avoid, you have to judge the people depending on their actions and your experiences with them and keep on mind that not all of us are the same, every person has his own unique character and his own way of thinking.

Islam is a religion, Islam is not a race. Many people think that there is a strong connection between the Arabs and Islam and they even think that all the Muslims are Arabs or all the Arabs are Muslims, the two sentences are wrong. the immigration and the marriage played major rule in changing the Muslim population map. and we must not forget the people who converted to Islam.

The Muslims population is about 1.8 billion, 30% of them are living in east Asia, The majority of them are living in Indonesia, India and Pakistan.

20% of the Muslims are living in the Middle east, the majority of them are living in Turkey and Iran, Both of Turkey and Iran are not Arab countries. So we find that there is more Muslims in China than in Lebanon and there is more Muslims in the UK than in Syria.

There is no logical reason to be afraid from the people like you who are following a religion that is 1400 years old, you will not ask your doctor or the taxi driver about his religion, the right-wing terrorism in the USA was responsible of more than 70% of the attacks since 2001, Even ISIS has many European fighters. The terrorists don't have a unique look or a religion.
